I have been searching a good laptop but quite confused too as i haven’t worked on laptop yet. I am still using dell pcs and they are simply great to operate but now i m going to buy laptop. I have reviewd this HP laptop but honestly my friend has suggested me to buy compaq, but i think this hp g60-235DX seems a good laptop.

Personally I would barely even consider buying another HP product. In the past every HP product I’ve owned has died after a year of use. They just have not mastered quality control. Then again it has been several years. So perhaps they have smartened up by now.

HP releases some of the best laptops in the world, in my opinion. Sony is nice too, don’t get me wrong. I have a gateway and it has survived a trip around the world, so I gotta mention that gateways are built tough.

Yeah I don’t really like HP if I’m honest, the best laptop manufacturer in my opinion is Sony.

For 600 $ this G60-235DX from HP is not there to attract you with its design or style but it will definitely make an impact with its incredible combination of features and performance in its price range.

Does anyone know if there is an adapter that would allow the power cord that is attached to my HP G60-235DX laptop swivel? Or maybe a down/side angle piece?

A you know the plastic piece that plugs into the laptop sticks out pretty long. I’m afraid that it my get hit or pressed and break my AC imput.

Thanks for your reply - you really need the plugin which notifies when comments are added to a post LOL! I think I will hold off until the dust settles on windows 7 - but I like the look of the HP G60-235DX and definitly like the price point
