Cordless vacuums has its advantages compared to the wired ones but if you’re in for some massive carpet cleaning, refer it to the bigger vacuums.

A company should be ashamed of producing a lousy product that just looks good. A vacuum still needs adequate power regardless if it is cordless. Likely they had a different power source in mind but changed it to increase profit margin.

Hi Lorecee,

I found the vacuum power of the Kurv to be noticeably lower than the Dirt Devil Kone, it’s predecessor. Both have the ‘blow around the dirt’ problem though.

Of course, I get these test units in as refurbs and returns most of the time (a friend of mine buys pallets of this stuff for resell). For example, the Kone we got was full of Cheerios!

The Kurv is great for vacuuming ants when they invade your home, a safe alternative to spraying pesticides inside.

The Kurv looks a bit like a Lava Lite. Too bad it’s a crappy product, but it’s not alone–most of the handhelds out there are crap. For pet hair, the only thing that’s worked for me is a turbo brush attached to a super-powerful upright like the Dyson. There are portability issues, but at least it gets my sofa clean.

I just don’t understand why can’t they make one amazing product. Just for once let’s have a vacuum cleaner with a great design, awesome vacuuming power and all important functions. Even if they made it cost twice as much as the competitors it’d still sell well because it’d be an ultimate vacuum cleaner - it’s not like people have different expectations when it comes to cleaning supplies - everyone wants the same thing.
