I've bought 2 cheap brands in the past and the battery gets drained very quickly. If you are going to use it much you are advised to buy an extended battery pack. Battery life is critical on these. You can destroy stuff so much quicker with it. I usualy end up using manual tools for the job but playing with those electic ones, drilling holes in stuff and so on. It's great fun. I love them! But have you tried it on a varity of wall types, we've got loads of plasterboard walls at home and the problem I always have is carving up the wall a little too much due to the excessive power in the drill.
