There is something very comforting about telling your alarm clock which music to play to awaken you, and at what volume. Too bad the engineers missed the point. They've come down a bit since I priced them over a year ago now but they're still pricey at about $30 a pop, about the same price that you can sometimes find the TS70B. The problem is that proprietary USB interface that Sansa digital music players have, one of the big annoyances with that line of player. You can get some generic chargers that are cheaper and are supposed to work but if they apply power to the wrong connector ZAP! your player is a paperweight. I just checked prices.
