I thought I’d put together a Christmas card post using a few fun Christmas themed videos I found on YouTube.

White Christmas - Bing Crosby

First up is the original movie presentation of the Irving Berlin song White Christmas from the 1942 movie Holiday Inn. Bing Crosby and Martha Mears (who was dubbed in for Marjorie Reynolds part) perform the song.

White Christmas was the surprise hit of this movie, staying on top of the charts for weeks and is considered the number one best selling songs ever.

This song was later reprised in the 1954 hit movie by the same name as the song. You don’t see the original movie that often today because it contains a racially insensitive segment.

Jingle Bells - The Brian Setzer Orchestra

I’ve been a fan of Brian Setzer for a while, particular as a rockabilly guitarist. He’s not the best singer but I just love the sound of that Gretsch guitar.
