Elvis - Baby What You Want To Do
Here’s Elvis in his 1968 Comeback Special performing Baby What You Want To Do.
This was part of the segment he did with old band members performing in the round and it was obvious that a lot of the old fire from the 50’s was back for Elvis, at least for that brief moment in time.
Also, in this video, you can get a good guitar lesson just by watching Elvis play. He wasn’t a great guitar player by any stretch but he knew how to lay down a simple boogie-woogie rock-n-roll blues riff. Just watch his fingers and work on playing along and you’ll get there quickly.

I can’t think of another performer that hit such highs and such lows musically. At his best, Elvis was American music, and at his worst — the Vegas years — he was just embarrassing.
But boy, when he was good … wow.
This was the best part of the Comeback Special … Elvis seemed to have be having so much fun, just getting together with friends and making music. For a little while he didn’t have to be “The King” … he could be one of the guys again.
