Product orientation is a must for Amazon, and most other affiliate offers for that matter. If you're not in a well defined product niche where you've got a 100+ loyal readers plus search traffic coming in as well, you probably will make less with these widgets than you will with Adsense.</description>

		<description>You're right about Amazon. I have the widget but I don't see any click rate increase. For low-to-medium traffic (like my blog), the best way to increase click-rate is to blog about the item and hope from there visitor shops in the amazon site using the referral link.

Otherwise, the widget will be a waste of sidebar space.</description>
