But, to the point...

Militarization of the police has been going on since Bush Sr. was in office, for example, at Ruby Ridge and Waco. However, was mostly at the federal level until after 9/11. Homeland Security started throwing money around and local and state police agencies ate up this new funding and spent it on para-military training and weaponry. The second video is an example of this training, treat every member of the public like an IED wielding terrorist.

Police and military are two different things. Trying to make soldiers into cops doesn't work in Iraq and trying to make police into soldiers doesn't work in Utah.</description>
