I heard her a couple of months ago, when I was back east visiting a friend in Chicago; she was opening for Ray Davies (one of the founders of The Kinks). Marvellous voice and she really won the crowd over. It's never easy being the opening act, but she did a fantastic job. Hopefully she'll make it out to Washington sometime in the next year or so.
