Peter Gabriel & Kate Bush - Don’t Give Up
This is another one of my favorite 80’s pop songs. Sad, but comforting.
It also speaks to some of troubles of today, such as the mortgage and foreclosure crisis, doesn’t it?
This is a newer, updated, video. I liked the original 80’s MTV video better which just had Peter and Kate hugging as the camera rotated around them. Unfortunately, this video isn’t on YouTube. I wish they would work out all this sticky licensing stuff where such great work would be available and artists would be fairly compensated as well.

It’s a beautiful song; both Peter & Kate are amongst my favorite artists ever. They have another wonderful duet, much less well known, from Kate’s TV special in the late 70s. Their cover of Roy Harper’s “Another Day” is just heartbreaking:
