I with you man. I have been programming web sites forever, but when it comes to marketing I’m a lame duck. I’m embrassed to say that only recently have I even discovered StumbleUpon.

That’s true. When I’m stumbling I try to give sites a little longer than 3 seconds but slow loaders and spammy sites get the stumble button pretty quickly.

Being competitive online is a challenge. Staying competitive on Stumble Upon is even more challenging. You have to grab the reader in about three seconds! Excellent post.

Agreed. A good portion of my traffic comes from StumbleUpon. It’s a very active social community. Also, most of them spend time at my site once they arrive.

Hi tAxX,

Interesting little tax mini-site you have there. Not a bad job of a MFA site. My suggestions for it would be: Throw in an About page perhaps with an offer to a tax help ebook, fix up the text formatting a little to keep it from looking too MFA, consider adding text link affiliate offers for tax help (there are several with really good payouts) and change the “Your Site Name” in the footer to something meaningful like “Dewey, Cheatham & Howe - Tax Attorneys”.
