It’s Time to “Fall Back”
Don’t forget that in most parts of the US tonight is the night when you turn the clocks back from Daylight Saving Time to Standard Time. Turn your clocks back one hour before you go to bed. It’s also a good time to check your batteries on smoke alarms, CO alarms, and other battery operated warning devices in your home.
Also, if you’re using an unpatched version of Windows XP or Windows 2000 you’ll need to do this manually since Congress increased the number of weeks for Daylight Saving time this year. Windows Vista already has this built-in. I don’t know about versions of the Mac OS or Linux. If you do, please feel free to leave a comment with this information.
