Here’s another one of my favorite alt-country groups, Bonepony, performing their song Sweet River

I also recommend their song Lonely.

I particularly like their acoustic sound, vocals and insightful lyrics.

The group was formed in 1989 and, like many groups that don’t walk the straight country or rock line, they’ve had their share label problems before going the indie route.
