I used to work with a developer whose immediate response, if she was asked to do something she wasn't familiar with, was "It's not possible to do that". Drove me nuts. There's no shame in not knowing how to do something; but it's dumb to try & cover it up with flimsy smoke & mirrors. Never be afraid to say “I don’t know … but I’ll find out and get back to you”.
