What Supernatural Things Do You Believe In?

Have you seen a ghost, believe in ESP, UFOs, or something like that? This AP poll found these results:

As for my thinking on this, I would have to put myself in seen a ghost and seen a UFO category. Since I was young, 5 and 14 years old respectively, when these things happened I may have well been imagining things. The UFO was just a strange light in the sky but the ghost one certainly was plenty scary at the time though! Here’s what I saw.

The UFO was like a glowing yellow-green ball that bounced around the horizon for a while, then darted quickly across the sky before disappearing. I was into astronomy at the time and I could recognize normal things in the sky pretty well and this wasn’t normal. I’m not sure what this was but if could have been some sort of ball lightning or a helicopter or airplane seen at an odd angle.

The ghost, well, it was at night and I woke up thinking there was something in my room. As little kids do I got scared and ran and jumped in my parent’s bed (I’m sure they liked that). Then I saw it. It was like a medium sized coal black dog with glowing red eyes. It looked at me and growled and I ducked under the covers and it went away. Bad childhood dream or something else?

OK, that’s my ghost stories, do you have one of your own you would like to share?

I hope I don’t tread on any one’s toes here … but I think it’s reasonable to think of pretty much any religious beliefs as supernatural. To be clear … I’m religious myself, so I’m not denigrating religious belief. But by it’s very nature, belief in God can’t be “proved”, thus putting it in the category of supernatural.
