The long awaited Google Page Rank update has arrived!

The blog echo chamber is in full swing as the Google toolbar pagerank, which has been anticipated since August, has apparently happened. It reminds me of Christmas morning when I was a kid where everyone in the neighborhood had to go around and check out what Santa brought the other kids. Some got cool stuff like a new bike (PR 5+), some got candy and action figures (PR 3-4), some got new clothes (PR 1-2) and some didn’t get anything (a PR drop).

Of course, OpTempo is too young at about 3 weeks to get any PR this time around. Maybe next time. My other blog, VB Notebook For .NET, got it’s first PR, a 4, so that’s good.

What did Santa, er, Google bring you?

Aren’t we about due for another Page Rank update? I’m guessing OpTempo will hit at least an 8 won’t it?

(Or, to use the gift-giving guide from your post … a pony!)

Hi Refurb,

Last October’s update was the longest time ever between PR updates as recall.

Right now it’s been a while since the last full PR update although there was a partial one, mainly to hand out paid link penalties, a few weeks ago.

Man to think I just launched my website back in the middle of July 2008. I remember reading about the PR updates that were taking place at the end of the July, that’s when I was thinking to myself, man 3-6 months before the next update. But when I check my Alexa stat this evening I noticed something else. I just now finally had an update to my PR, From PR0 to PR3! It’s a simple website based on CSS and XHTML validated web projects I have in my portfolio, non the less, I am very happy about this update to my first ever SEO efforts in web. I’d love to see examples and reports on how your current SEO efforts are going and possible results from from the latest Google PR update, please share your updates with us?

I do not know if Google updates the pagerank, but I already has over 1 years with a PR4, every time Google does not put it more difficult to attract visitors to our site, Google wants all the web traffic for them, is not just be left to compete and I am trying to get by with Google Adsense.Pero really earn a pittance if you have it 5 to attract more visitors.
