Dr. Feelgood: “She Does It Right” From 1975
Here’s another favorite music video, the British Pub Rock band Dr. Feelgood doing She Does It Right on a TV show in 1975.
Guitarist Wilco Johnson’s robotic moves with a tasty sense of rhythm playing is what I like about this performance. A lot of it foretells the arrival of punk and new wave that arrived on the popular scene about 4-6 year later. Unfortunately we had to suffer through disco until it arrived.

Oh, what a fantastic treat! I haven’t thought of Dr Feelgood in years … their song Milk and Alcohol was a mainstay of my high-school years.
Hey,
I clicked on the video and was just about to enjoy a real blast from the past and then YouTube said that the video had been removed due to terms of use violation - whatever that is!
So here’s a link to Roxette on the Old Grey Whistle Test again back in 75 - ahh memories….

Dave.
Hi Dave,
It’s too bad that one got pulled. It had been around on YouTube for several years. I’ll have to dig up an alternative when I get a chance. Thanks for letting me know.
I wish that they could figure out a way to get these old clips on YouTube while taking care of the licensing issues where actual artists, performers and such got paid. The entertainment industry accountants and lawyers though should be on street corners offering to balance books for spare change rather than buying million dollar “sweet sixteen” parties for their brats.
Sorry for the rant, I’m feeling crabby this morning.
