Let’s have a little fireworks to celebrate!
Just to give you some site stats, this blog went live on October 6, 2007. Since that time, I’ve created 100 posts, an average of 7.6 posts a day. This is a little under my planned post frequency of 10 a day. It would have been about 9 if I hadn’t encountered some Internet connectivity problems last weekend.
In these 13 days I’ve had slightly over 1000 unique visitors. A lot of them dropped by from StumbleUpon in a flurry of traffic late last week. The bounce rate for the site is 62.50% and visitors spend an average of 4 minutes, 15 seconds on the site. Not bad, but I’ll have to analyze it more over the next few weeks. Oh, and there are 36 comments so far, including my own.
I’m not particularly concerned about monetization at this point since I’m still working on this aspect of the site but a couple of bucks have been made so far, primarily from AdSense.
I’m half way to my goal of 200 posts by November 1, 2007. That leaves me 13 days to do another 100 posts, just barely enough to squeak by if I can keep the same blogging pace. Will I make it? Check back on November 1 and see, or better yet, check back daily and see where I’m at.

Is it crazy to try to post 200 blog posts in a month? Let me know what you think and I would appreciate any constructive criticism as well.
