		<description>I think we have brother and sister. I've had my blue and gold for 31 years. 
Your description of ownership is dead on. My bird after 31 years talks up a blue storm. You have to listen and be around him for a while to clearly understand the guy. Like listening to someone speaking Spanish or whatever it takes some time to hear him clearly.
He is gentle and smart as a whip. I had to put 4 different latching mechanisms on his cage. 8x4x6ft when I built it 31 years ago just to keep him inside.
He would watch intently while I set the latch figure it out in a day or two.

Finally I had to attach a plate steel so he couldn't get his head to the latch. The bars are only 1 inch apart and it worried me that he would force his head through to get the latch.
