Unfortunately, there isn't a good way I know of to tell if a video has been pulled or that has had embedded disabled. YouTube does maintain the link for pulled videos so you can't tell this by using the various link checking that are available for WordPress blogs. I’ve put up a new video.

That makes me realize that if somebody is making hosted video an integral part of a website, the webmaster would have to continually check for dead links.
