Are you saying that inexperienced sploggers forget to remove pingback capabilities and so are found out due to their own negligence? I find it amazing this happened on the very first day of your blog.

Hi Jim,

I usually do Google searches on certain phrases I commonly use in my writing along with links to my sites. Also, many of the new sploggers pingback to your site so they're easy to find.

Copyscape provides several tools that can help with the process. They aren't 100% accurate but they're usually good enough. It can make the process easier for you.

Hi Frank,

Congratulations on getting scraped!

I use Google Alerts for articles but I'm a bit clueless as to what you need to use to check your posts aren't taken.

What do you use?
