Flip Off Cops, Get Tasered
Now this guy looks like he’s wanting to get into this year’s Darwin Award competition:

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. - William Joseph Galloway wrecked his pickup after leading deputies on a 115-mph chase and tossing beer cans out the window. So authorities weren’t thrilled with the 26-year-old man’s next move: swigging beer and giving them the middle finger.
Authorities said he told them “he was going to die fighting and swinging.” But a Taser shock ended that threat.
Thanks to the Taser, he came up short on winning an award this year. I guess the good thing, for him anyway, is that the cops were kind enough just to taser him and not just fill him full of lead.
It’s a crazy weird incident but it raises some interesting questions. Is flipping off the cops freedom of speech even when you’re doing other illegal things or should it be considered resisting arrest? Should they have just shot him dead when he went digging in his glove box, perhaps saving someone innocent from being killed in his next DUI episode?
